API Terms of Use

These API Terms of Use ("API Terms") govern your access to and use of application programming interfaces (APIs) provided by REB Global LLC for the REBG token ecosystem on the Base blockchain.

1. API Access

Access to REBG APIs requires: registration and approval through our developer portal; acceptance of these API Terms, our Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy; obtaining valid API credentials (keys, tokens, or other authentication methods); compliance with all rate limits and usage policies.

2. Permitted Use

REBG APIs may be used to: integrate REBG token payment acceptance into third-party applications; query token balances, transaction history, and network status; build applications that interact with the REBG ecosystem; access real-time and historical token data for legitimate business purposes.

3. Prohibited Use

You may not use REBG APIs to: reverse engineer our platform or underlying technology; exceed documented rate limits or engage in denial-of-service attacks; collect user data without proper consent and authorization; build competing token platforms using our proprietary technology; facilitate illegal transactions or circumvent AML/KYC requirements.

4. Rate Limits and Quotas

API access is subject to rate limits based on your developer tier. Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary or permanent suspension of API access. Rate limits are documented in our API documentation and may be adjusted at any time with reasonable notice.

5. API Keys and Security

• API keys are confidential and must not be shared or published publicly
• You are responsible for all activity conducted using your API credentials
• Report compromised credentials immediately to [email protected]
• Implement appropriate security measures in your applications
• Never embed API keys in client-side code or public repositories

6. Data Usage

Data obtained through our APIs may be used for: displaying information to end users within your application; analytics and reporting purposes; service integration and functionality. Data may NOT be sold, redistributed, or used for purposes unrelated to your approved use case.

7. Uptime and Availability

While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted API access. Scheduled maintenance, emergency fixes, and blockchain network issues may cause temporary disruptions. We will make reasonable efforts to notify developers of planned downtime.

8. Versioning and Deprecation

API versions may be deprecated with a minimum of 90 days notice. Developers are responsible for migrating to current API versions. Deprecated endpoints may be removed after the notice period.

9. Liability

REB Global LLC is not liable for: data inaccuracies or delays in API responses; losses resulting from API downtime or errors; consequences of unauthorized use of your API credentials; integration failures in third-party applications.

10. Termination

We may revoke API access at any time for: violation of these API Terms; abusive API usage patterns; security concerns; discontinuation of the API service.
